78 - Does God Only Love You Just the Way You Are?

I drove by the local Episcopal church the other day.

Its lgbtqai+ agenda was boldly proclaimed in streamers in the churchyard and on a giant sign displaying the phrase: 

"God loves you just the way you are"

                - the Episcopal church.

The sign and pride month got me thinking.

 

The Catholic response seems to be:

"Yes, God Loves you just the way you are...

AND...too much to leave you there!."

 

HE LOVES YOU TOO MUCH!

 

Too much to leave you in the sin of transing. 

Too much to leave you in the sin of sodomy. 

Too much to leave you in the adulterous lust of homosexuality. 

 

And for you single moms...

 

He Loves You too much to...

Leave you in your brokenness.

Leave you in despair.

Leave you in confusion.

Leave you in your doubts.

 

We often hear people claim that God Loves you just the way you are, but is that all there is?

If God Loves you as you are, why does He seem so nonchalant when your life shatters and you are no longer the person you thought you would be? Let's discuss this in today's episode!
