134 - Living Out the Beatitudes When Facing Adversity

If you've ever faced hardship and wondered where God was or how Jesus expects you to handle what you are going through, the Beatitudes assure you God knows how hard this life can be. 

He also knows the path to perfection and peace lies in living, not as the world tells you, but counter culturally through the poetically beautiful but so difficult to live out Beatitudes. 

Jesus teaches the Beatitudes to show us He knows life is not going to be easy but that there are surprisingly peaceful ways to handle adversity.

Those ways are not easy but lead us to the perfection and unexpected peace we desire and that He wants for us.

In today's episode I break down what the Beatitudes are in today's terms and give one doable action to help you to begin moving toward that perfection and peace.
